NOVA SERIES

Making beautiful things gives me a ledge to stand on in a world that often feels groundless. Pema Chödrön, the esteemed Buddhist teacher who wrote When Things Fall Apart, speaks of groundlessness as the human condition that we must accept. It is my experiencfe that resisting pain leads to more suffering. However, beauty offers me a spot to stand and catch my breath.
